Welcome to my Yankees blog! I have been a Yankee fan (and NY sports fan) my entire life, but didn’t become a die-hard Yankee fan until the 2001 World Series. The 2001 World Series will always hold a special place in my heart due to the fact most New Yorkers were trying to cope with the aftermath of 9/11. I will never forget the magical Tino Martinez, Derek Jeter, Scott Brosius home-runs, and the fans reactions who endured so much pain from the events of 9/11. Although the Yankees lost that World Series the memories are timeless and inspirational. Those miraculous home-runs demonstrate there is always hope in any given situation in life, and in the words of the beloved Yogi Berra, “It ain’t over, till it’s over!”
I am currently a business student at Indiana University majoring in finance.
